Description: A graduate stop motion about a Necromancer who brings life to a doll for his daughter.

These thumbnail sketches were my pitch to the Director. I wanted to show that I could use my love of cinematography and mixed camera angles, even in stop motion where you need to keep the actual camera steady for the puppeteering. At this point, the character wasn't set in stone, and after this, the script was cut significantly. But it was a good basis for what some of the props might have been needed to accomplish, so the prop team could start on production faster.

With stop motion, I had to keep the layouts so that the camera could remain stationary. Even with the pans or camera tilts, the idea was for it to be done in post production so that the animator could keep all of the puppets on the correct marks.
